FOSTER CITY, CA – Visa shareholders gave a strong show of support for the first lobbying disclosure resolution of the proxy season, with 37% voting in favor of a resolution sponsored by Boston Common Asset Management (Boston Common) and the Unitarian Universalist Association. The shareholder resolution called on Visa to disclose its state and federal lobbying expenditures, including funding of lobbying trade organizations, such as the controversial American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).
